Public Work

Flight of Hands. 2011
With funding mainly from CABE, I was employed to organise an art project for a very large atrium of the new St John's School in Wiltshire.  The project was in three phases: to plan a design day for 80 pupils together with interested locals to develop eight design ideas, helped by experienced artists, and then to run the making of the selected design over ten after-school sessions and, finally, to manage the installation. "The Flight of Hands" design was chosen for its interaction with the space, viability and positive symbolism.

Oak Cabinet. 2009
With funding from Plain Action, Issy Van-Lennep and I worked with military families over several workshops to make a sculpture for Urchfont Manor Gardens.  The project aimed to give the participants an experience of art process and to encourage public engagement with the gardens.
